Our Clovers!
"Clovers" are our Volunteers!

We are in constant need of volunteers to help people unload their vehicles, to educate them on proper recycling (without making them feel bad!), engaging family members that come to recycle with the driver (4 legged and 2 legged), and generally being a fun but educational place to go. Volunteer Clovers are either "people engagers", "equipment operators", or "clean up crew" or a mix of all three! We teach you everything you need to know, including how to safely operate our equipment.
We are open to the public "every day with a T in it" so that's Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, BUT we are prepping material, cleaning and assisting commercial accounts on the other days.
So if you have the time, we have the need 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm! No experience necessary. Only have an hour? Perfect! Every little bit helps. Any age welcome...as long as you love people and recycling...this is the place to be!
Orientation or Training takes about an hour. If you like working with people, the days to volunteer are Tuesday, Thursday or Saturdays from 11am to 7pm. If you like doing things on your own or want to learn equipment skills, come the other days, as we are there working 7 days a week from 8am-8pm
Love of environment and love of people is required. Can't wait to welcome you to our team of Clovers!
Would you like to donate?
We accept cash and checks and your donations are 100% tax deductible and you will receive a Tax Receipt. There is no annual limit. All donations are used to either buy or maintain equipment, buy or maintain safety gear or to provide meals for volunteers. DONATIONS do NOT/NOT pay any salaries, even the owners are volunteers.
We accept Corporate donations in form of services, products, materials or, of course, money. Please think of us if your company does matching donations!
We are always looking for grants for infrastructure improvement, supplies and training. Know of one? Know someone who can volunteer to write up an application or proposal for one? Contact us!
If you would like to donate food or drinks or disposable utensils, we are always in need of that for volunteers. Food can be your leftovers (we LOVE leftovers, lol), pantry staples, candy, protein drinks, fruit and veggies...just about anything. We cook or buy food for our volunteers who stay more than 4 hours, so everything gets used or sent home with ones that can use it for their families. (If it does go bad, we compost it or donate it to a local farm to feed their chickens and pigs!)
We also use a lot of hot chocolate, coffee (decaf or regular in all forms: pods, ground and regular beans), tea and all condiments associated with those. (creamers, sugar, honey, stirrers, etc.)
Volunteers tend to clear out the snacks and candy bins too, so don't be afraid to bring us that leftover candy, cookies or chips. We appreciate it all!
